Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled rental time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled rental time will incur a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total rental price.
Cancellations made after the rental period has started are non-refundable.
In the rare event that MAKINA NYC needs to cancel your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., vehicle unavailability, accidents, or technical issues), we will offer the following:
Full Refund of any amounts paid for the booking.
Alternative vehicle options or rescheduling based on availability.
We will notify you as soon as possible in the event of such a cancellation.
Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days of the cancellation request.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
If you choose to return the vehicle before the end of the rental period, no refunds will be issued for the unused portion of the rental.
Certain charges are non-refundable, including:
Insurance fees (if applicable)
Additional driver fees
Fuel charges
Late return fees
If the customer does not show up to pick up the vehicle and has not canceled in advance, the booking will be considered a “no-show.” In this case, no refund will be issued.
